Southern Cross Assurance Ltd (SCAL) is excited to announce the renewal of its Naming Rights Sponsorship of the National Amateur Golf Championship! After a successful Championship hosted by the Lae Golf Club in Lae last year, SCAL has come on board yet again with a K20,000 sponsorship to support homegrown talent in the game of Golf. The 2026 Southern Cross Assurance National Amateur Championship will be held at the Royal Port Moresby Golf Club from the 3rd to the 6th of April.
Last year’s Championship saw Gideon Tikili take out the Men’s Division title while Natalie Mok bagged the Women’s Division title as they competed among 118 participants. This year’s tournament is expected to host more than 120 elite amateur golfers as they compete for the title.
