Insurance License Status
In accordance with the PNG Insurance Act 1995, Southern Cross Assurance holds a current General Insurance License issued by the Insurance Commissioner of PNG, permitting Southern Cross Assurance to provide insurance services to the general public in the PNG market.
Reinsurance Security
In accordance with the PNG Insurance Act 1995, SCAL offers world class level of security for property, engineering and other risks with the long-term panel of world class reinsurers checked and approved by SCAL’s experienced management team.
After a decade of solid growth, SCAL has built a strong balance sheet, we have developed a sophisticated capital allocation strategy in place and with strong reinsurance support, SCAL is able to underwrite cover for specialist risks in aviation, marine and other niche’ business.
